Language Arts (Sun)
-"Dino-mite Discoveries" pg. 17 #1-3
- using the topic you chose in class, write using bullet points:
  • thesis statement (using occasion/position or however format)
  • main point #1 (evidence)
  • main point #2 (evidence)
  • main point #3 (evidence)
  • 1 counterargument

Language Arts (Yong)

Science
- read through the biome project website for instructions so you can ask Ms. Sun questions about it this week. With your group, decide by Thursday which national park you'd like to do the project on for the biome you've been assigned. 


- print Chapter 16 Section 1, Section 2, Section 3, Section 4 Guided Notes (if you can manage to print back-to-back, you will not only save paper, but it will fit perfectly on four sheets of paper)

- make sure that you are finished with filming and loading your video footages on to your computer sometime this week --- to ensure that the file will work with the Macbooks next week in class, you can go to Zamzar and have them convert your file FREE for you as a .mov file, then load the .mov file onto your USB to bring to school next Monday for editing

- if you didn't get to finish writing down notes for the Planet Earth video, plan to come in at lunch this week to re-watch the video
