Language Arts (Sun)
- Grammar
pg. 56-57 Exercise 6 #2-10 even
pg. 58 Review B #1-9 odd

To figure out if a verb is transitive/intransitive, first figure out if it's an action verb or linking verb.

Linking verbs are ALWAYS intransitive.

Action verbs could either be transitive/intransitive. If the sentence answers who/what immediately following then the verb, then the verb is likely transitive. If the sentence answers where/where or is an adjective, then the verb is likely intransitive.

- on tomorrow's weekly quiz, make sure you can differentiate between main vs. helping verbs, action vs. linking verbs, and transitive vs. intransitive verbs
