- 1st Paragraph should have your thesis statement (What's the focus of your essay? What do you want to share about your best friend?)
- 2nd Paragraph should include your first point (quality/characteristic of your best friend) stated in a topic sentence and supported by details
- 3rd Paragraph should include your second point (quality/characteristic of your best friend) stated in a topic sentence and supported by details
- 4th Paragraph should include your third point (quality/characteristic of your best friend) stated in a topic sentence and supported by details
- no concluding paragraph necessary for now (but optional)
Don't forget, your thesis statement/topic sentences should use the following formats:

- Occasion/Position
- However
